walking along the marina mesmerised by the gulls who so freely soar the sky to play hide-and-seek and the sound of flowing water as if she is whispering sweet kisses, i reached the fresh food market fortuitously and bought a colourful assortment of fresh fruit and veg that captured my gaze as i walked by. as i stepped out on to the sun-drenched pavement, the summer breeze blew me to a pocket thrift store, where i found a collection of gems, gold and coral, lilac and white. and now, it’s time to turn a new leaf and the explore the shores of skye.
